Verification
Considering the impact this misinformation could have on the electoral process, we decided to fact-check this post.
We began with getting a keyframe from the video and putting it on Google reverse image to identify whether the video had surfaced anywhere before and it returned the information in the image below.

To confirm if the video was that of the campaign team of the All Progressives Congress (APC), we further entered a prompt that queried what location the event happened and here are a few things we found.
Google identified the location of the event as Ado Local Government Area (specifically within the state capital, Ado-Ekiti).

According to Google, the footage was captured during the massive, final grand mega campaign rally organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC). The convoy and its accompanying campaign trucks moved through the major streets of Ado-Ekiti to mobilize voters just before the state’s governorship election.
Also, the campaign material pasted at the back of the truck showed it was for the APC.

Item Thrown To The People
To identify the item thrown to the people, we further collected screenshots from the video and critically examined them.
First we found that it was not bread.
The items are campaign materials of the political party. Also, the material is too ‘bright-white’ to be bread.
The close extermination of the material is indicated in the images below.

Verdict
The claim that the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign team was throwing bread to residents of Ekiti State is FALSE and meant to tap into the emotions of the people.
The items thrown from the truck are believed to be campaign materials of the party and were too white in colour to be bread.
